Many travelers are often facing a common problem; where to safely store their luggage and personal items. Fortunately, there are many luggage storage solutions available in major cities, including Milan.

Milan, the capital of the Lombardy region and Italy’s second-largest city, is situated in northern Italy. Milan is unquestionably the most fashionable city in the nation and is known as a hub for fashion, finance, and football. However, there is much more to do here than just browsing at upscale clothing stores!

In the back streets of the city, you’ll find a wide range of hip bars and boutiques, and on the bustling thoroughfares, imposing towers announce the city’s superior economic might. Today, Milan provides a beautiful blend of ancient buildings, contemporary skyscrapers, and a mix of traditional and modern Italian culture. You will certainly discover something to enjoy in this multicultural city, whether your interests are in shopping, art, museums, or cuisine.

So, if you’ve just landed in Milano Malpensa airport and want to discover Milan’s hidden gems but you’re in the search of safe luggage storage solutions this guide will help you find the most suitable option for you!

Luggage Storage at your Hotel

Milan must undoubtedly be visited and explored lightly and without carrying any luggage. Any item, no matter how large or small, should be kept in a luggage storage facility in order for you to explore the city’s attractions without carrying your luggage around.

Milan has a wide range of services, including left luggage, and even if you are familiar with the city, it is advisable to leave your luggage at a facility so as to avoid the risk of loss and theft.

Most of the time you will be able to leave your luggage at the front desk of your hotel. Most hotels will keep your luggage for a few hours before or after you check in or check out. You can leave your items at the front desk staff at smaller hotels, but, at larger or more expensive hotels, you will need to leave your bags with the concierge or luggage porter.
